I have a complaint about last month’s back cover advertisement and this month’s Faith and Family article. I am atheist and in the article Pastor Edmondson equates being an atheist as being immoral, intolerant, uncaring, racist, etc. The definition of an atheist is someone who does not believe in God. I would have to say that my life is more “christian” than a lot of people that attend church regularly. I am tolerant of others, I am a volunteer in my community, I am raising two very moral children. The article speaks of Christians embracing tolerance because that is the Christian way–this article is intolerant of at least 18 percent of the population that does not believe in God.
